Spurs Sports Academy is proud to support Haven for Hope for the annual Hoops for Hope 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament, an event that brings people together through the power of sport
Since 2016, Hoops for Hope has provided Haven for Hope residents with the opportunity to enjoy friendly competition, build relationships, and experience the excitement of basketball in a positive, welcoming environment. More than just a tournament, this event celebrates dignity, belonging, and community—and our volunteers help make that possible.
We're looking for enthusiastic, dependable volunteers who are passionate about serving others and creating memorable experiences for every participant.
Volunteer Opportunities Include:
Welcoming participants and assisting with team check-in
Scorekeeping and helping games stay on schedule
Collecting scoresheets and supporting bracket updates
Maintaining hydration stations and distributing water
Handing out Spurs-branded giveaways
Assisting with event setup, breakdown, and general event support
Join us as we use the game of basketball to inspire hope, build connections, and remind every participant that they belong.
